Wow, eh? (365.2.35)

What a day.

(And then CNN crapped out and I went downstairs to watch it on the TV.)

I’ve been weepy and crying all freakin’ day. Seriously. Even now while watching the parade. It’s been hard to get any work done.

the Fox feed through Hulu turned out to be the one for me. of course, i shut it off right after the speech 'cause they can shove their commentary...but i digress. it was a very good day. a great day, indeed.

i have yet to see any footage! i couldn't connect to any streams today - brutal. i'm going to check CNN as soon as i finish this flickr check-in. i'm pretty sure there will be some tearing up :)

I've got it all DVRd and I can't wait to watch it tonight. :) We DVRd the PBS coverage (because all the other stations make me M.A.D.)

Heh, I work in a language centre, and we were watching it at 5pm (our time) in 13 different languages. No one could really hear a thing, a a result, but hearing didn't really matter at that point.

Totally! I decided to take the day off, and I'm so glad I did! :)

finally got to watch. the dude's presence made it too hard to cry, but we did a couple of clinks and cheers!

yeah, i definitely cried. i held it back when i was in my classroom, but when i got home and started watching parade footage, i was REALLY crying, then. so amazing.

such an incredible, meaningful day. it was awesome that more than 80 people in our building stopped what they were doing to gather in groups around the building to watch the inauguration.
