Seriously. I only need about a foot of yarn to bind off this hat. I already skimped two rows on this side of the ear flap and I spit spliced the leftovers from my cast-on end. This tip of the ear may end up brown if I can’t scrounge up a little more of this colour.

Haha, I remember spitting and splicing every little bit -- all the little trimmings, the trimmed off longer tie-on tails -- along one shoulder of a vest in order to finish once... I hope you make it!
