sock that rocks
You may not know this about me, but I have hot feet. Not the pretty kind of hot that would make me a prime candidate for foot fetish pics or anything, but warm-hot feet. I prefer to be barefoot most of the time for better temperature regulation. The only time I wear socks is in the winter and only when it's below freezing. For this reason, I prefer a shorter sock and that's exactly how I knit Jaywalker #1.
First sock rocked, one to go.

Love how your Jaywalker turned out! I'm a hot-footed girl, too, and have yet to make even ONE pair of socks for myself. But now that I've seen you great your shortie turned out, I may have to jump on the Jaywalker wagon!

Same for me too (hot feet). I always wear cotton socks, but at night in the winter, my feet get collllld.

I love it! I'm making mine right now and I'm thinking short too. How many repeats did you do before the heel?

Oooh, good solution! They look great!

Thanks!
In case anyone else is wondering too, I did 18 pattern repeats before the heel. At least that's what my notes say...

Oooh, I have hot feet too. Actually, I'm a fully paid up member of the "Burning Hot Foot Syndrome" club. Real name!

Beautiful sock. I'm using that colorway for my Olympic project, but in the worsted superwash.
