Over the ribbing and through the woods
Garter rib is not my favourite rib. Even though you work the actual ribbing every other row, it always seems to take longer than a plain ol' two by two. I feel like I'm always double checking my work. I can't zone out as much as with a regular rib or like with stockinette. I don't know if it's just the way my mind works or what, but it drives me a little batty. Thankfully I have the worst of it behind me now. The body for Tangled Yoke is worked as one piece so the only ribs I have left to think about are the sleeves and they're still a ways away.
On to the stockinette!

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that feels this way. I have a pair of socks in a garter rib and I love how they fit, but I hated knitting them.

I know you are finished with the garter rib, but here is a little tip that might make it more mindless the next time. Put a split ring marker on the side where you are doing the ribbing. So whenever you see the marker you do the rib, when you don't you just do a straight row. Make sense.

Ugh, I know, that garter rib nearly killed me. I'm at about the same place you are with my Tangled Yoke and now the stockinette stitch part is boring to me, but good TV knitting. I really do want to wear this cardi!!

Ugh. It's not my favoritie rib either - and I think that's why it's taking me so long to get through my current pair of socks.
